PTC Creo 3.0 software and technology UniteTM, specifically the ability to use CAD files of different systems in the software. PTC PTC Creo and technology with the introduction of the company’s continuing ability to work with any computer design tools (CAD), giving new tools to simplify the development of the concept development and design for users to bring out. The wide range of possibilities of the 3D modeling machine, the high quality of the result obtained and its stability to subsequent changes made the Creo system one of the leaders of CAD / CAM / CAE systems, and the presence of direct access to the product life cycle support system Windchill PDMLink puts Creo in the PLM category. What a mess! But I guess it still beats unlink components and having to do double work when something changes.Description: CAD / CAM / CAE system of the American company PTC (Parametric Technology Corporation) is a top-level CAD system and covers all areas of design, technological preparation of production and product manufacturing. Now do the axis pattern on all of the other components you wish to "mirror".

Create reference patterns again on the mirrored parts (not sure why this works, but it does).Mirror the 1st part in any of the reference patterns.Maybe there's a way to select this, but I do not know it. If you do the axis pattern 1st, the refence pattern will default to this instead of the feature.

  • Create your feature driven reference patterns 1st.

Here's the steps I used to get around that: This approach does work on linear/direction patterns! However, if you have reference patterns, the software won't let you pattern those. Not a big deal either way & certainly better than unlinked components. You either need to group all the components 1st then do the pattern, or do the pattern once on the 1st component and then reference (automatic) patterns on the subsequent components.A couple of notes on this approach as I tried it. It also solves an orientation issue I was having. While it's not the perfect solution, doing a circular "axis" pattern isn't a bad idea as a work around.
